I wanted to work on this project primarily because I knew that it would force me to learn more about using open source tools. In an age of proprietary software, especially in the AI age, it's more important than ever to support open-source development.

Being accustomed to Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Replit, and other mainstream AI coding tools and models, I had certain expectations coming into developing this, and other open-source projects, such as Creatrweb Data Art. But as an artist (who was trained with a Studio Art minor), I love the act of experimentation using different tools, with different contexts, for different purposes.
